The Eton is a compact leather club chair with a character far larger than its footprint. Combining the traditional Chesterfield deep buttoning with a refined, upright silhouette, it has long been a favourite in hotel lobbies, private members' clubs, and executive offices — and works equally well as an occasional chair in the home. Every Eton chair is handmade at our workshop in Blackburn, Lancashire, using traditional upholstery methods and a solid hardwood frame.
A chair that works harder than it looks
Despite its compact proportions, the Eton is a genuinely comfortable seat for extended use. The deep buttoned back provides firm support, and the generous seat depth means it suits a wide range of sitting positions. The tight, structured profile means it tucks neatly into corners or beside a desk without dominating a room — yet the quality of the finish ensures it never goes unnoticed.
Chair or compact suite
The Eton is available as a 1 seater chair or as a 2 seater sofa, making it one of the few designs in our range that can work as a compact suite in a smaller room or study. Both sizes are made to the same specification and can be ordered together for a perfectly matched pair.
Cushion or button seat
The Eton is available with either a deep buttoned seat — as shown — for a fully traditional Chesterfield look, or with a plain cushion seat for a subtly more contemporary feel. The back remains deep buttoned in both versions.
Choose your leather
The Eton is available across our full leather range, with over 50 colour and leather combinations to choose from. Our Traditional Antique is the most popular — a warm two-tone finish with natural aged character, available in eight colours. The Full Grain Windsor range offers a clean matt finish across a wide contemporary palette. For something with more texture, the Superior Old English is semi-aniline and naturally distressed, while our Vintage leather delivers a heavily cracked, weathered finish. Can't choose from a screen? All UK mainland deliveries are pre-arranged for a specific day and time slot. Delivery is carried out by a two-man team who will place the furniture in the room of your choice, including up to 1 flight of steps.
