The back and arms are finished with traditional deep Chesterfield button tufting, while the seat is plain and fixed, a deliberate contrast that gives the Tub a more contemporary, understated quality without losing its British heritage. The overall silhouette wraps around the sitter in a gentle tub shape, providing a naturally supportive and enclosed feel that is both practical and elegant.
Integral Frame Legs
One of the most distinctive features of the Tub is its legs. Rather than separately attached feet, the exposed legs are an integral part of the internal hardwood frame itself — a construction method that speaks to the quality of build beneath the upholstery and gives the sofa a particularly solid, cohesive appearance. Available in Club Chair, as well as 2 and 3 seater configurations, the Tub Chesterfield is handmade to order in our Lancashire workshop and finished in your choice of over 50 leather colours and finishes.
