The Vintage Chesterfield Sofa is our most characterful take on the classic British Chesterfield — a design that looks as though it has been in the family for generations, yet is built entirely by hand to order in our Lancashire workshop. Every detail has been considered to create an authentic vintage aesthetic: the dramatically swooping arms sweep low and wide in a generous curve that gives this sofa a distinctly relaxed, lived-in elegance you simply won't find on a standard Chesterfield.
Authentic Vintage Feel
The deep-buttoned seat is fully fixed and tufted, extending the traditional button detail from back to base for a rich, all-over finish that is as striking from the front as it is from behind. Beneath the upholstery, larger springs and softer foam have been specified to recreate the yielding, generous comfort of a genuine antique Chesterfield — the kind of sofa that draws you in and holds you there. Raised on taller 6-inch legs, the Vintage sits higher than our standard models, giving it a lightness and elegance that works beautifully in both period homes and contemporary interiors.
